Mr. Grano is an accomplished top-level business executive and U.S. Army veteran who served with distinction in Vietnam as a Special Forces Officer (Green Beret). After his military service, Mr. Grano became the Director of National Sales for Merrill Lynch and served as the President of the PaineWebber Group where he oversaw the dramatic restructuring of the firm and merger with UBS after which he became the President and CEO of UBS PaineWebber. In 2002, Mr. Grano was appointed by President George W. Bush to serve as the Chairman of the Homeland Security Advisory Council. He was also the President and CEO of Centurion Holdings, LLC, the Executive Producer for the Broadway show Jersey Boys, and the author of You Can’t Predict a Hero: From War to Wall Street, Leading in Times of Crisis.
