Constructed a 100 mW Cogeneration facility, upgraded the Central Heating and Refrigeration Plant (CHRP), and extended utilities at an airport, while ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations. This involved a new thermal distribution system, natural gas and electrical transmission lines, and superior quality pipeline construction. Comprehensive oversight and documentation ensured a seamless, turnkey solution for the owner.
Becton Dickinson retrofitted an existing facility into a warehouse, involving new utilities and systems. The project included Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical phases, carefully monitoring and controlling costs, anticipating supply chain issues, prioritizing activities, and emphasizing safety and quality. Local expertise in Puerto Rico was crucial, and all materials were reviewed for compliance.
RGS provided construction management services for a 270,000 SF office space renovation, 400 parking space addition, and community space renovation. They closely managed project budgets, facilitated design team coordination, and successfully completed the project.
RGS served as the logistics construction manager for a 72,000 outpatient clinic project, including planning, procurement, and transitioning medical departments. They managed comprehensive project support services, design, FF&E planning, acquisitions, and relocation. The project activated a new Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) with various medical departments. RGS ensured compliance with government requirements and developed procurement packages. They also managed room layout adjustments, risk mitigation, and utilized diversity suppliers for the project.
Renaissance Global Services worked with the Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission to coordinate and document efforts as part of Superstorm Sandy recuperation of a 14-acre plant. The firm’s team of experts performed field surveys and reviewed documentation to identify affected conditions, reporting findings to FEMA for more effective recovery and repair. In addition, Renaissance Global Services helped put a mitigation plan into place and spearheaded a baseline environmental and cultural resource survey on behalf of FEMA, which ensured that practical means and measures to protect, restore and enhance the environment in the event of future disasters were employed to the best efforts possible.
RGS oversaw a range of fast-track facility upgrade projects, managing budgets and schedules efficiently. They streamlined construction costs by challenging unnecessary deliverables, improved project schedules, and ensured compliance with regulations and guidelines. RGS also played a crucial role in managing project teams and documents, becoming a valuable asset to AKORN's site projects, handling a significant portion of the 2021 capital budget.
Renaissance Global Services coordinated with a Fortune 500 real estate management firm to track contractors executing Superstorm Sandy recovery with New York City Rapid Repairs, a program to help residential property owners rebuild after suffering storm damage. Renaissance Global Services consulted on contractor performance and cost analysis, while weighing-in on potential project pitfalls and challenges. As part of the efforts, Renaissance Global Services was able to identify billing inconsistencies and materials theft, which saved funds and streamlined the program to reinforce integrity and honesty on behalf of NYC Rapid Repairs.
