Commitment

One of the best ways to support our veterans and their families is to ensure there are viable career opportunities available for them when they are done serving our great Nation. At Renaissance Global Services we strive to hire qualified veterans, promote veteran-owned businesses, and support veterans’ initiatives with our corporate partners, clients, and other organizations. Approximately 25% of our workforce is comprised of military veterans.

Renaissance Global Services supports the National Veteran Business Development Council’s 50 State Manager and JROTC Scholarship Programs which are designed to extend the reach and exposure of NVBDC to those who may not be aware of the organization and its contributions to VETS and the community.  The basis of the program is to reach every community in America to identify and engage corporate partners, business colleagues and individuals to become more involved with our Veteran initiatives.  The ultimate goal is to raise funds, identify JROTC recipients and award them scholarships.  The RGS senior management team is proud to manage these programs in the states of Vermont and Oregon.

Renaissance Global Services is a proud participant in the DOD SkillBridge program, which is designed to give service members a chance to gain civilian work experience through training, apprenticeships, or internships in the last 180 days of their service. It connects service members with industry partners, who provide training and work experience while service members receive their military compensation and benefits. Commanders can support their personnel in finding a civilian career by encouraging SkillBridge participation. These partners offer valuable real-world experience that open up civilian opportunities to our transitioning service members. We partner with SkillBridge to seek out and support our transitioning veterans.

RGS is actively involved with the NJ State Veterans Chamber of Commerce which seeks to improve the business environment in the state for Veteran-Owned, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, and Veteran Spouse-Owned businesses.

RGS earned the HIRE Vets Medallion Award four years running, culminating in the Platinum Award in 2022 and 2023. The Honoring Investments in Recruiting and Employing American Military Veterans Act (HIRE Vets Act) Medallion Program is the only federal award program that recognizes job creators who successfully recruit, hire, and retain veterans.
